These are great if you want something crunchy to snack on in the family of chips, crackers, or pretzels.

  1. Cook up a couple cups of chickpeas
  2. Lightly salt them and bake them in the oven

Obviously there is more instant gratification if you already have the chicpeas cooked ahead of time.

It takes ~20 minutes to cook dry beans in my pressure cooker.

Then I add a cup or two back into the thing and cook them in the air crisper at 400 for 15 - 20 minutes, checking on them to make sure they don’t burn, and shaking them up every five minutes or so make sure they don’t burn/stick to the pot and also to allow them to cook evenly.

If you don’t have an air fryer, you can spread the beans out evenly on a baking sheet and bake them in the oven. It’ll take a bit longer, probably ~40 minutes. Check on them and shake them up in the same way.

Season them how you like. Salt and pepper. Dash of cayenne. What have you.
