This is a very good ice cream!
This is a cashew based ice cream which means it is very good.
Here are my favorite non-dairy ice cream bases:
- Sunflower butter, as done by Ben & Jerry’s 😋
- Coconut, as done by Nada Moo 👻
- Cashew: hard to do wrong 👌
- Soy: pretty standard stuff ✅
- Almond 😕
The cashew base means it is nice and creamy, unlike some flaky almond ice cream. This particular ice cream is very chocolatey, with chocolate cookies added in. Usually flavors this strong are to cover up strong base flavors like almost and coconut. But you don’t even need to do that usually with cashew because the base flavor profile for cashew is not that strong.
Anyway, lots of flavor. Smooth consistency. I like it 👍
